From The Battery to Sean Abbott

Mohsin Khan Pakistani Opening Batsman

Mohsin Khan experiences the West Indian fast-bowling battery.

Mohsin Khan struck on the head by one of the members of “The Battery” of West Indies (Battery consisted of Michael Holding, Malcolm Marshal, Andy Roberts, Sylvester Clarke, and Joel Garner). The blow was so hard that it brought down the helmet of Mohsin. That inning was a real test of any batsman’s ability, Mohsin was the highest scorer of that Semi Final of 1983 at the Oval from Pakistan scoring 70 runs. The captain of Pakistani team named Mohsin as “Mighty Mo” for his brave innings.

Game of cricket was never dangerous nor it has become dangerous its just life that can play its twists pitching short ball and hitting the helmet did not make The Battery criminal or culprit and even today’s Sean Abbott has any fault of what happened last week.
