It all started at 2.30 am of 8th November journey started with roaming on the roads of Lahore before dawn and then spending Dawn in the outskirts of Gujranwala. Passing through GT Road to reach Mangla View Resort to have an overnight stay.
Marched on the road built over the Mangla Dam to reach Mangla Fort spent afternoon at the Army Water Sports Club built at the bank of the Mangla Lake, reached Ramkot fort via Jet boat and then later in the evening explored Mirpur Azad Kashmir (and found it quite OVERRATED).
9th November while on our way back to Lahore explored Rohtas Fort that was my personal tribute to the great Administrator and ruler of this land Sher Shah Suri and the evening was spent on the bank of Chanab to enjoy some food. before the midnight of Sunday we were back home. This certainly was a mind refreshing journey but on the body front it was exhausting, tiring enough that, at least, I am still under it’s effect.
